FSTI, Inc. has an opening for an R&D Manager at its facility in Manor, TX.
Job Duties:
| Design and organize planned research ideas into lab-scale experiments and establish research protocols abd scientific database |
| Manage research & applications lab with each aspect involving inventory and supplies and monitor & maintain regulatory compliance in acccordance with cGMP, EPA, TxDPS and City of Manor |
| Supervise and direct Research Chemists with multiple projects for new product discovery and line up project according to company's interests |
| Develop hydrophobic & hydrophilic coated Silica nanoparticles to encapsulate corrosive material for safe applications |
| Plan and develop new chemical products to aid Chlor-alkali production systems in enhancing quality production |
| Coordinate operations of Silica nanoparticle wet lab |
| Plan and execute lab experiments aided with instrumentation including Gas Chromatography, Karl-fisher titrator & UV-Visible spectrophotometry |
| Work with corrosive inorganic chemicals, hydrocarbons and organic solvents for research needs |
| Coordinate with QC & Manufacturing by providing technical support in trouble-shooting issues and provide customer support |
| Direct projects with production & manufacturing teams to establish QC lab by creating and sharing SOPs |
Experience may be obtained concurrently. One R&D Chemist and R&D intern will report to the R&D Manager.
